What's not to love about June. The days are longer, temperatures are rising, the sun is shining and it's the start of summer. Summer is definitely our teams favourite season, so we wanted to share a couple "gifts" to get you in a fun summer mood!

Gift #1 is my lifetime home sale guarantee.

Your Home Sold, Guaranteed, at Your Price or We’ll Buy It*

Yes, this is the guarantee we are most famous for. And you will know that whether it’s a super awesome real estate market or a housing recession, I have not wavered from this guarantee. The peace of mind from a guarantee like this is a fantastic gift. I can think of none better.

Our team is committed to results. In fact, Results Oriented is one of our core values. For years people have been coming to us when they want their home sold, at their price and with the least hassle. We look forward to the next 30 years of Guaranteed Results for area homeowners.

Gift 2: Are donations to CHEO on your behalf.

In last month’s letter, I updated you on our goal of raising $50,000 for CHEO this calendar year. In case you missed it, we donate a portion of our income from home sales to CHEO. They depend on sponsorships and donations to continue their leading-edge care and to keep family’s expenses to a minimum.

Who do you know considering buying or selling a home you could refer to my real estate sales team? Not only will they benefit from our award-winning service and iron clad guarantees but the kids at CHEO will benefit as well.

From May 24 to June 6, you will be able to view CHEO Telethon patient stories in advance and if you make a donation, the donation will be doubled! You will then be able to watch the broadcast live on Sunday, June 6 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on CTV.

Your donation helps to:

Be there for CHEO’s most medically complex and vulnerable patients who may be at risk from respiratory diseases like COVID-19;

Support COVID-19 specific research projects from basic science, systems in our Emergency Department, mental health services to address the impact of isolation on children, and acquisition of personal protective equipment for our frontline health care workers;

continue to diagnose and treat the children who come through our doors;

Offer patient and family support programs that are such a vital part of the care provided at CHEO;

Ensure CHEO’s social workers can assist families in financial hardship;

send caregivers home with the right medical devices, feeding equipment, sanitizing products and medications so that they can successfully manage care outside of the hospital setting.

613Flea: The not-for-profit 613flea is a humongous once a month marketplace held in the historic Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa

SUP with Urban Ocean: Imagine paddleboarding the Gatineau River looking up at the stunning parliament buildings of Ottawa

RCMP Musical Ride: Watch the world-famous RCMP Musical Ride Mounties perform a free, time-honoured tradition in Canada’s capital

Escape Manor: While still running real-world, socially distanced experiences in locations across Ottawa, this entertainment organizer is also offering online escape adventures where people in multiple households can collaborate.

Don't take our word for it, here is a recent testimonial from one of our clients.

I’ve added the photo again of myself along with a couple members of our team proudly holding up a check for $25,000, payable to CHEO. Our Goal last year was $25,000. Mission accomplished! With the help of our clients, I’m confident we’ll make our big goal of $50,000 this year.

The CHEO Foundation supports and helps the hospital provide a wide variety of pediatric programs, research, state-of the art equipment, medical and nursing education, and assistance for families in crisis. To this day, the initial goal is to have a special place that provides specialized care for children and youth. This remains a top priority for the families in eastern Ontario, western Quebec and beyond.

Born, raised and growing up here in Ottawa, I have seen many things change. Many schools, residential and commercial areas are developing at a rapid pace; however, there has always and will always be a continuous need of support towards our hospitals.

There are however some in our community that for reasons beyond we can fully understand are experiencing real hardship. Circumstances involving vulnerable children who face sickness, disability, and illness who rely heavily on multiple health providers, hospitals, and equipment required at home and school environments. Thank goodness for the CHEO Foundation. Their mission is to further the physical, mental and social well-being of children and their families in eastern Ontario and western Quebec by raising, managing and dispersing funds.I have had the privilege of taking a tour and meeting sick and disabled children who need our help. It is for that reason, FEELY GROUP is a proud sponsor of the CHEO FOUNDATION and on a mission to raise $50,000 for CHEO.

CHEO touches the lives of over 500,000 patients and families each year. Funds raised by the CHEO Foundation supply extras that help the doctors, nurses, and staff provide the excellence in health care that our children and youth so richly deserve. What an amazing way for us to give back to the community.

We encourage you to visit their website at www.cheofoundation.com
